Pesticide Use and Safety 

Pesticides are classified by mode of action. This presentation will take a look at modes of actions and how they impact the environment and the ecosystem differently. Modes of action often dictate when and how to use a pesticide. Modes of action help a person understand how pesticides work. Understanding how pesticides work in the plant or insect helps in appropriate pesticide selection, application timing, and resistance management, as well as in diagnosis of pesticide injury.
